If you have filed a FAFSA, make sure that you have added the correct FAFSA school codes on your application.  You can check the status of your application by visiting www.fafsa.gov. The office of Federal Student Aid at the U.S. Department of Education will send you a Student Aid Report (SAR), three days to three weeks after you submit your FAFSA. Once received, review it carefully for accuracy. The schools listed on your FAFSA will receive your SAR and Expected Family Contribution information electronically.
