- Official Transcripts: CUNY requires that transcripts be sent directly from the issuing institution to transcripts@cuny.edu. Alternatively, official transcripts can be mailed to the following address:

These official transcripts will be processed and evaluated.
Processing time for documents is 4-8 weeks. - Unofficial Transcripts: Transcripts that are forwarded by the student (except for non-U.S. high school/secondary transcripts or GEDs) will be considered unofficial and will not be evaluated.
- Non-U.S. High School/Secondary Transcripts & GEDs: If you are submitting transcripts from non-U.S. high schools/secondary schools or a GED, please email them in PDF format to admissions@cuny.edu for evaluation.
- Translations: If your transcripts are not in English, please submit certified translations to admissions@cuny.edu along with the original documents in their native language.

Note: The application will appear as "Incomplete" until transcripts are received and evaluated.
First-Time User Activation: If activating a CUNYfirst account for the first time, visit this link. Select the "First-Time User" option and enter information exactly as it appears on the application. If no social security number was provided, use the four-digit CUNY-generated number sent to you.
